We see the current market adjustments as a sign of a more mature industry for two main reasons.

First, the blockchain industry is stepwise becoming an integrated part of the general economy, so the current uncertainty in the global economic cycles impacts blockchain directly.

Second, the recent meltdown of LUNA had an impact through the interconnected crypto markets but an isolated effect through its idiosyncratic nature and revealed flaws.

The LUNA meltdown sheds light on the importance of sound design from both an economic, cryptographic as well as an operational point of view.
