It’s wonderful to see how involved many of our new (and old) members are when it comes to interacting with the Polychain Monsters dApp and their Collector staking mechanism. We’re glad you’re enjoying our unique functionality to stake and earn on your NFT collection - something we were one of the first to implement in the space believe it or not!

That being said, we’d like to take a moment to give you a little background information on how claiming your staking rewards works.

The Basics of Collector Staking

Collector Staking rewards are generated procedurally over time and paid out weekly. The reward amount is based on the point size of your staked collection as a fraction of the total points of everyone’s staked collection.
There is a one year period from receiving a reward that you are able to claim your full earnings. If rewards don’t get claimed within 365 days, they go back into the rewards pool.
Each time your claim your rewards, you are paying a little bit of gas in order to transact on the blockchain.
Therefore, the ideal time to claim Collector Staking rewards is slightly more frequently than zero times per year, but less frequently than each and every week.

Note: The first time rewards might return to the rewards pool is August 24th, 2022. If you began staking at the inception and have never claimed, please do so before this date.

2022-07-14 18:28:34 Introducing the 11/11 Exomon Challenge!

How it works:
- The 11/11 Exomon challenge rewards 12,500 points to community members that collect at least 3 types of Exomon and 177,500 points to anyone that collects all 11 types of Exomon.
- Those that collect 11/11 Exomon will also get a bonus for this challenge equivalent to 25% of the rarity points for all 11 of the monsters used in the challenge.
- Stay tuned for our next announcement that will include details about how Exomon provide a boost to the Polymon Horn & Rainbow challenges.

Points Received at each step of the 11/11 Exomon challenge:
- 1/11: 0 challenge points
- 2/11: 0 challenge points
- 3/11: 12,500 challenge points (+12,500)
- 4/11: 25,000 challenge points (+12,500)
- 5/11: 37,500 challenge points (+12,500)
- 6/11: 57,500 challenge points (+20,000)
- 7/11: 77,500 challenge points (+20,000)
- 8/11: 97,500 challenge points (+20,000)
- 9/11: 117,500 challenge points (+30,000)
- 10/11: 147,500 challenge points (+30,000)
- 11/11: 177,500 challenge points (+30,000)
- Those that reach 11/11 Exomon will receive challenge bonus points worth 25% of the rarity points of the 11 Exomon used in the challenge
- On average, 11 Exomon (one of each type) are worth ~130k points; this means the average challenge bonus will be ~42k points.

1. Ranking & Rarity Points Have Been Added to the Exomon Metadata

You can now view the ranking and rarity points of each Exomon in its metadata (e.g. on Magic Eden or OpenSea) and in the Polychain Monsters Collector Dashboard. There are a few things to know about the rarity points for Exomon:

- The total points were determined by the Polychain Monsters Collector DAO prior to minting. You can view the rarity points vote here: https://bit.ly/3yq3jXr
- The Exomon ranked #10,000 is worth 3,800 rarity points.
- The Exomon ranked #5,000 is worth 9,349 rarity points.
- The top 500 rarest Exomon have rarity point ranges between 31,526 and 88,559 (excluding Solid Gold Exomon).
- The 29 Solid Gold Exomon range from 486,464 to 2,045,455 rarity points.

2. The minting of Exomon has generated ~50k $PMON for our Collector Staking rewards pool!

Rewards will be distributed over the course of ~6 weeks, starting on July 13th, 2022. There are a few things to know about the Collector Staking rewards:

- You must set up your Collector Staking account by July 12th at 12pm UCT in order to qualify for the July 13th rewards distribution.
- Stake your Exomon by adding your Solana wallet(s) to your Collector Staking account by going to the Polychain Monsters website > enter app > DeFi > Account > Paste your Solana wallet address in the “wallet address” input box > select Solana > sign and approve transactions to link your account. We also have more detailed instructions in an earlier announcement (scroll up to June 29th on our discord announcements channel).

Stay tuned for the introduction of the 11/11 Exomon Collector Challenge as well as the boost Exomon will provide to the Polymon Collector Challenges, which will provide additional points beyond the rarity points that each Exomon and Polymon provide! Open / Comment

You can now vote to finalize the exact amount of collector points created by the Exomon collection. Voting starts now and ends on Sunday, June 26th, at 12am UTC since Exomon Mint Day is June 28th.

The collector points that are created by Exomon will come from two sources: (1) the individual rarity points that come with each Exomon, and (2) collector challenge points.

Therefore, we have two topics to vote on:

DYOR on Exomon (as you should with anything in life - especially crypto). Take a moment to investigate what makes the project special, the members behind the team, and why Exomon should have your attention in general.

Claim your Whitelist spots. If you've won any events lately, make sure to reach out so we can whitelist your address ASAP. If you don't have any whitelist spots yet, try to participate in some of our final giveaways and events in order to get yourself a guaranteed mint spot come Pre-Sale date.

Fund your wallets! The mint will happen FAST. Make sure you're prepared to take advantage of the event by having $SOL in your wallets for the Pre-Sale and Public minting events.

Head on over to our website and follow the process below in order to receive your rewards for having one of these three specials!

1. Go to your collection tab
2. Click on "specials"
3. Click the burn button in the bottom right of the special you would like to use the claim process for
4. Execute the burn transaction by following the simple pop-ups that are displayed

Our team will be monitoring these burn requests weekly and will make sure you receive your tokens and the modified new special as soon as possible.
