Update on the token unlock

Total Tokens to be unlocked since 21st April 2021, as per the vesting schedule - 1,386,609,632 MATIC

The vesting schedule of tokens can be found here that has been shared publicly with the community. The vesting schedule is already mentioned in the foundation vesting smart contract as per the schedule and the tokens has already been vested, but they were not claimed till date. In the next 24 hours, the foundation team will claim those tokens. The breakdown of the tokens can be found below

Team - 640,000,000 (6.40%)

This includes two vesting unlocks as per the schedule - October 2021 (320,000,000) and April 2022 (320,000,000)

Upon claiming, the tokens will be staked directly by the co-founders. The token unlock will move into the previously unlocked tokens which are still mostly held by the co-founders at their respective addresses or have been put into staking as shared with the community.

Foundation - 546,609,632 (5.46%)

This includes the October 2021, and April 2022 vesting schedule tokens for the foundation. As always, the team will update the community beforehand on any movement from the foundation wallets. All movement of historical MATIC tokens by the foundation team since the start can be tracked here.

Staking rewards - 200,000,000 (2.00%)

Details : Includes staking rewards vested tokens from May-December 2021 period as per the schedule.
