The Drone Falcon Can Land on Branches and Grab Objects The authors of the latest work have added a
pair of bird legs to the drone, which provide the drones with the ability to land without a flat surface.
The design is based on motors acting like muscles and wires
serving as tendons. When it lands, the paw absorbs the impact and the claws close around the perch in about 20 milliseconds.
