Hello everyone,
I would like to share you my bad experience hoping that one of you can help and advise me.
Shortly after updating the firmware 1.6.1 of my Ledger Nano S, on 08.04.2021 two fraudulent transactions were performed without my consent and emptied my Bitcoin and Ethereum accounts. I would like to point out that my Ledger Nano S is kept in a safe, accessible only by me. The 24 security codes are only kept on a sheet of paper in another hidden place, also accessible only by me.
This is the transaction of 0.14469 BTC from my Ledger address to the address 1Gt6dUU8v5sgn9WD96YfrHhzk9A3SuuLAh (transaction hash: 2be2af01ae681d0b571da9e3ff0512d2a30fb31be8699eb1cac02838301b96cf), as well as the transaction of 5.81 ETH from my Ledger address to the address 0x1494babc5ea9c62ccd5d41d7b8fb2b468ea94c4e (transaction hash: 0x08025e492dbbcb1d34fb82bf9e9638cb8cc5beaf806f8f26edae36962226bf0).
As soon as I discovered these fraudulent transactions, I contacted Ledger support. I also sent them the criminal complaint report and asked them for the connection logs to my Ledger Live account. To date I have not received any response from them.
Do you have any idea what could have happened?

Some time ago, 8.5 Btc where bought,

Had a girlfriend and all that shit, together we moved,

Fixed a house for her, their parents drop some money to lend,

Took the money and bought a kitchen with it.

The total bill of the kitchen, 7200$ with Silestone it was,

I didnt see it coming but she was a rat,

After 3 years together, she grinded my gears,

Told her to gtfo, and asked the money in return,

Cashed the bitcoins, and freedom I bought,

With 450$ left, happy I felt.

My poetry is as good as my sight for financial shit

Still, each btc cost 82$ and sold them for 850$

My exgirlfriend doesnt know she cost me almost half million dollar. That was an expensive as fuck kitchen.

And today, 0 regrets, I prefer being poor to spend 1 more day with her.

2021-05-12 16:37:33 Just had a 30 min conversation with my grandpa about Bitcoin…

He wasn’t interested in investing or buying, he just wanted to know more about it. I told him what little I know, and pointed him in the direction of some good documentaries (the method I believe he personally will learn the most from).

But I just couldn’t help but find it fascinating that here’s a man in his 80’s who is now aware of a future currency/store of value and is keen to know more. A man who has dealt with centralised finance his entire life, but can see the potential future in this idea.

He has no background in tech, blue collar his whole life, but the excitement/hype (whatever you want to call it) has trickled down enough for him to be interested.

I think this can only be a good thing for Bitcoin and crypto as a whole.
