2021-12-22 19:30:41 Google Authenticator has somehow just hit 100 million installs on the Play Store - could crypto be the cause?

While Google has long switched to a default phone-based approach rather than a code-based authentication, it still offers Google Authenticator, its one-time code generator that can be used with any supported service.

Now, the app is celebrating 100 million installs on the Play Store. It long looked like Google Authenticator was left sitting in maintenance mode, with the app only gaining a much-needed facelift including a dark mode in May 2020 - which is still its latest update to this date.

2021-12-22 14:54:47 Ethereum Launches First-Ever Public Testnet for Full Upgrade to Proof of Stake Known as “The Merge”

After relatively 2 years of development, Ethereum, the largest smart contracts platform, has launched the first-ever public testnet for the full upgrade to proof-of-stake known as "The Merge".

The Merge removes miners from having any role to play on the Ethereum network. The major upgrade will make validation to be performed by stakers that deposit 32 ETH. 2.3 million testnet ETH have already been deposited on the new network by relatively 72,000 validators. Open / Comment

Hello members, we believe you all had a good time with your family and loved ones during the weekend.

Weekdays are here so let's get back to the updates.

According to our previous analysis, BTC went up to $48300 but failed to break the resistance level. Once again BTC landed into the lower supporting trendline and bounced back.
One thing is clear here, until and unless BTC breaks above the resistance (upper trendline), this 'dodging' game will continue. Same goes if BTC breaks down.
Currently, BTC is at $47500 level and the resistance is at $48100. If BTC couldn't above break this then it will surely fall down trying to touch the lower trendline once again.

We have been accumulating BTC lately and like we said before things may go wrong only if BTC breaks either $44k or $40k levels.
