I am an amateur investor. I know far less about investing than professional market participants. However, that doesn't stop me from living off my capital in any way.
 
I also cherish the meetings and friendly relationships I have with other private investors. Why so? Because they risk THEIR OWN money, not their clients' money.
 
We (amateurs) have many advantages over the pros. What are the advantages? I'll try to list them all down below.
