Security is one of the most significant obstacles DeFi has to overcome to reach mass adoption. For that reason, we joined forces with the strong blockchain security firm valid.netwrok to defend our users and create innovative security solutions such as emergency withdrawal. Integrating insurance into our protocol was always part of our plan as well.

The Qubit hack made us realize we should not wait anymore. Therefore, we raised a new DAO proposal meant to reimburse Revault community members affected by the unfortunate Qubit hack:

We believe this community-based insurance concept represents our project's approach and is vital in every Defi DAO out there.

The main goal of this concept is to protect our users from hacks even when it is obvious that the vulnerability had nothing to do with our protocol.
