Yesterday, the Optimism team shared details about the launch of its native token (OP) and an airdrop aimed at active users of the network (OP Airdrop #1). For Airdrop #1, 250,000 wallets are eligible.

We are happy to announce that the voting round regarding making the $ROOBEE token compatible with Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, and Arbitrum has been successfully closed!

What does it mean?
All ROOBEE holders will soon be able to interact with the ROOBEE token — swap, store, farm, etc. — not only on Ethereum and BSC, but also on the Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, and Arbitrum networks.

When?
The Roobee team is already working on deploying the token's smart contracts to the aforementioned networks. We will make a separate announcement once the smart contracts are verified and the bridge for token transferring is ready. New guide articles and instructions are also on the way!

We've put forward a new proposal on dao.roobee.finance — all users who have staked bROOBEE on Roobee DAO can participate and vote on it.

Voting topic: making the ROOBEE token compatible with the Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, and Arbitrum networks.

At the moment, the ROOBEE token lives on two blockchains: Ethereum and BSC. With the new voting round, we propose making the ROOBEE token compatible with four more networks, namely Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, and Arbitrum.

This update will enable users to interact with the ROOBEE token on all of the blockchains supported by Roobee.finance.

Expanding ROOBEE's compatibility to more networks is the next step towards strengthening the token's position in the market and achieving mass adoption. This step will help to draw more attention from DeFi fans, closely integrate the ROOBEE token into the DeFi ecosystem, and provide users with more options for using the token.

Important note: the ROOBEE token has a limited supply and the token's smart contract doesn't allow any extra token issuance. The expansion of ROOBEE's compatibility into the Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism and Arbitrum networks will not in any way affect the token's total supply — a portion of ROOBEE tokens will first be locked in the smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain and then issued on the aforementioned networks.
