Klarna entered the Ireland and Portugal markets: now the service operates in 16 countries in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
The company has recently launched a new feature in the US - "Pay Now", which can be selected instead of postponed payment. According to CEO Sebastian Semiatkowski, this feature is popular with service customers in Europe.
The company is also preparing to introduce the Klarna plastic card to the States, which, like the application, performs the function of an interest-free installment plan. The card is suitable for those who do not like to use mobile applications for payment.
This news once again confirms that Klarna is positioning itself not only as a "Buy now, pay later" service but as a multifunctional shopping application.
