StoreDot Digest: Partnership with Italvolt, automakers testing batteries, and more
A strategic agreement has been signed with the Italian company Italvolt, which is building one of the largest battery factories in Europe. The partnership involves licensing StoreDot’s speedy charging technologies and subsequent battery production.
15 leading automakers from the U.S., Europe, India, Japan, South Korea, and more are testing StoreDot batteries in real conditions. The company said other potential partners are in line for trials this year.
Carl-Peter Forster, a well-known expert in the automotive industry, took over as chairman of the company’s board. His track record includes senior positions at Geely, Volvo, Tata Motors, and BMW. Forster’s mission will be to bring StoreDot technology to market.
