Hello beamers, it’s been a minute!

Well, there was a good reason for my absence - I got lost in the Sugar Kingdom! Oh it’s true, it’s damn true!

See, Sugar Kingdom is a place like no other. Charlie and The Chocolate Factory don’t hold a candle to the real kingdom of sweet people and candy!

For a dumb little hamster like me, it’s basically a maize with sugarcoated walls you just wanna lick all the time… it’s much better than running in the wheel all day!

They gave me the keys to their kingdom, and I ate everything in my sight... Until this point in time, because Sugar Kingdom folks said I won’t get any more sweets until we do some work.

Work that will make our communities happy!

The end of this week can be capped off with some good news - Scotty Beam has been added to the ecosystem of the Avalanche blockchain!

It is an eco friendly chain and is considered to be the fastest smart contracts platform in the industry. I'm a big fan of AVAX and I have ensured that my Teleporter supports it.

And now they have acknowledged me too, which feels so good. You can check the Avalanche website, go to 'Projects', choose 'NFT' in the 'Culture' category and see me there with your own eyes.

Hello beamers!

I hope you had a great week so far, and would like to share what’s happening at the Scotty Beam station. It was a rather quiet week, but only for one reason - we’re planning some big changes on our website! There’s always room for improvement.

Some of the changes will be directed at making Scotty Beam’s hub a better looking place for your favorite NFT activities, whether we’re talking about teleports or Initial NFT Offerings.

The goal is to make the interface more striking and user friendly, and offer newcomers more explainers.

This is quite a big chunk of work, from copywriting to page layout and formatting, to new graphics. It will naturally take us some time to make these changes, and hopefully, you’ll feel the difference for yourself in the near future!

What a lovely day, Friday 13th!

The market is not looking like a slasher movie anymore, tokens are reaching upwards, including our own $SCOTTY.

Anyways, since any mention of the token movement generates a lot of vitriolic responses and the market is still in a shaky state, I thought I’d share some other stuff with you related to the project… the variety of teleports made in the last month!

I’ve spotted more animals than you could see in your local zoo:

Tiny Dinos, Crypto Dogs, Omnibirds, Yakuza Pandas… looks like Noah’s Ark, as many NFTs were sent in pairs too. NFT Grannies and Ghospers don’t fit the animal theme as much, but hey… whatever floats your boat!

People who will put down everything they don’t understand. This happens a lot with NFTs. Like, this is how every Reddit thread about NFTs looks like:

Same old jokes and arguments over and over again. You’ve seen one thread, and you have seen them all.

People decided that they’re harmful for the environment, which is at least hypocritical, since they type all that from a device that required polluting extraction.

Even more people assume that NFT technology is limited to pics of monkeys, Newsflash, there’s great stuff even if there’s a lot of doodoo around.
