Managing your emotions is crucial to achieving success in the volatile world of crypto investing.

This includes the discipline to take profits when others are getting caught up in the hype, the resilience to stick to your systems despite fear and uncertainty, and the wisdom to resist the temptation to sell at the first sign of FUD.

To help manage your emotions, try incorporating practices like meditation, setting rules for cutting losses and taking profits, seeking out and understanding sources of FUD, and taking breaks when needed.

I still struggle with emotions after 5 years of investing in crypto, but I've learned how to reduce the likelihood of making impulsive decisions by following my own strategies. Open / Comment

It means that sometimes people's thoughts and beliefs about an investment are more powerful than the investment's actual details.

In other words, the "story" or explanation around an investment can sometimes have a bigger effect on its value than the investment's actual performance or worth.

For example, let's say there's a company with financial problems but a strong brand and a story about future growth. Even though the company has financial problems, investors might like the company's story and think it has potential, causing the stock price to go up.
