some people asked & dmed me about my exit strategies, so i will explain.
i don’t necessarily have one, and i am probably the most paperhanded person you will ever meet. i usually don’t stay in tokens longer than 30 minutes unless i have a great reason to stay in it.
normally it’s not even based on timing, more on the chart. if it has a sudden huge spike, it’s shaky and could come back down as quickly it went up. i would usually sell 20-40% on those huge spikes, then continue to sell in small increments. or when i want to cancel my position, just sell it all when i am satisfied with the x i have received.
if the chart moves too slow or the momentum is dead, low volume, i tend to either get bored and sell off to move the next token, or hold and wait on news. I tend to hold if it’s an actual good project, if it’s a shitcoin, i am usually out, even if i’m on a loss.
then the golden rule: always take out initials at a 2x. i always do this.
