Seth Green paid $286,000 to get his BAYC token back
The American actor bought back the NFT stolen from him in May 2022 from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection. He was the victim of a fishing attack in early May, after which four NFTs were lost, including BAYC #8398.
The monkey was then sold to user DarkWing84 for 106.5 ETH (~$271,400 at the time). Green threatened DarkWing84 with a lawsuit, after which the parties agreed to return the asset.
According to the service Etherscan, Seth Green transferred 165 ETH (approximately $286,000 at the time of writing) to DarkWing84
