Introducing the Flooz Wallet MVP

The Flooz Wallet is the simplest way to buy, trade and manage any token on Ethereum, Polygon and/ or Binance Smart Chain (more coming soon). It works for any fungible ERC 20 token or #NFTs. We are onboarding the next 100m users onto the blockchain.

Your journey with the Flooz Wallet starts by creating a wallet. Either create a new wallet (1 click) or import your Seedphrase from any other wallet. Each wallet can be enriched with a title, description, Discord / Twitter username. You can create as many wallets as you like. This is important for our social features (more on this soon).

Now that you have a Flooz wallet, converting cash to crypto is a breeze. Click on (+ Buy), enter the amount and hit buy with A-/ G-Pay or We've partnered with MoonPay, Ramp Networks, Transak and SendWyre and analyse all provider to ensure you get the most out of your buck!

( swap) allows you to trade any token on any supported chain at the cheapeast price and fastest routes. We analyze >40 different decentralized exchanges to offer you the best price. Simply hit ( swap), select the token pair, e.g. $ETH to $APE, enter the amount and hit swap. Entered the wrong amount? Selected the wrong token pair? Don't panic, we've all been there. That's why we have added an "undo" button. It works like the "undo" button on Gmail.

You can follow all your actions in the Activity view. We made sure to humanize your activities and made it human readable. Follow easily when you swapped, sent, received tokens, and more. Each item has a detailed view with more information about your action. Keepin it simple.

Sending money should feel like sending an SMS. Thus, ( send) allows you to send crypto to any wallet address or ENS domain. It's simple: Hit ( send), select the token you want to send (e.g. $USDC) or a NFT (e.g. Gen-F), enter the wallet address, add a message and hit send.

Made some gains? Just want to leave crypto because issa bear market, lel? No matter the reason, ( sell) allows you to send any crypto directly to your bank account. Simply select the crypto you would like to sell, enter your bank details and voilà, the money is on its way.

Connect Flooz to any DApp (decentralized application) using WalletConnect. Hit ( connect), scan the QR code, connect to MakerDAO, OpenSea, AxieInfinity, Curve Finance etc. We automatically remove the connection & permissions you have granted to a DApp after a while.

Part of our mission is to remove all friction in crypto. The same way, we aggregate all relevant decentralized exchanges for you, we will do the same for all NFT marketplaces (OpenSea, Looksrare, Rarible...). You will be able to buy, sell and swap a NFT with one click.

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone A Friday afternoon doesn't stop us from releasing a new version of Flooz.Trade

We just updated Flooz.Trade to include the following features and fixes:

Features
- Beta testing season - add a banner for Flooz wallet beta testing waitlist
- Search history - you'll be able to see your latest searches
- Introduce quick actions:
- cmd + k => Open search bar
- cmd + b => Buy tokens with FIAT
- cmd + s => Swap tokens
- Integrate Transak provider for buying crypto using FIAT
- Reintroduce off-ramp functionality, add "Sell" link to trade page for selling crypto
- Handle empty tokens and buzzes states on profile pages
- Improve error logging to better identify issues

Bug fixes
- Fix profile images to display rarest Gen-F when user edits their profile
- Fix swap error handling for “gas required exceeds allowance” error
- Fix resizing of token logos

Amongst many factors, Covid19 and the War in Europe have pushed the economy into a downward spiral causing inflation (not peaked yet) and panic sells on the markets. These conditions have forced many businesses such as Coinbase and Robinhood to lay off staff and cut cost. Unfortunately, we are also affected by this. Thus, we have spent the last days planning the necessary changes we have to undergo to remain efficient as a team, but also profitable as an organisation.

The TL;DR: We are removing any distractions from our core business, cutting costs where necessary, automating a lot of processes internally, and most importantly doubling down on our core products: Flooz.Trade, the Flooz Wallet and Gen-F.

Laser-focus: Our entire focus is on the development of our core business. That said, we will pause any distracting initiatives, including the “Portals”. All of our resources are focused on building out the wallet, Flooz.Trade and pursuing the roadmap for Gen-F.

Efficiency and profitability: When it comes to business, we are old school. We like building profitable business that create enough value to cover our costs and fuel our growth. Our current revenue mainly comes from trading volume (swaps, on ramps), token partnerships, and Gen-F royalties. Thus, we are doubling down on driving revenues while running the business as efficient as possible. To do so, we are stopping hiring until further notice, increase efficiencies through process automation of recurring tasks, and develop the skill-sets of our team to become stronger and take on more responsibilities.

DAO: We have made tremendous progress received the official classification as a Utility Token by the FINMA (financial regulator in Switzerland), as well as the final rulings from a tax perspective. This paved the way for us to set up the legal entity in Switzerland. However, due to the current market situation, we decided to move the launch date of the DAO and thus the migration of SYA to Flooz. We cannot influence the current unstable and unpredictable macroeconomic situation, thus we are pushing the migration until the markets stabilise. We are not waiting for another bull run, we just need it to stabilise. We will keep you posted on this.

It’s annoying to say the least, but we believe that this market correction is a necessary one to re-calibrate the entire economy and bring back strong fundamentals: exceptional teams building exceptional products with a clear business model and value to its users. We are one of those teams and community that will come out of this bear market stronger than before.

Without you, this amazing community, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We have an obligation towards you to deliver exceptional products and value and we are committed to fulfilling our obligation. Together, we are unstoppable. Together, we will achieve greatness, no matter the market condition. Thank you for being with us and believing in this team
