2021-07-03 00:37:38 Food and hunger are taking center stage as the focus is shifted from covid to food / "climate emergency": this bill is a part of Gov. Northam’s “Road Map to End Hunger,” which states that an additional 445,000 Virginians became food insecure during the pandemic.

On Tuesday, Gov. Ralph Northam visited the Capital Area Food Bank to sign a bill to put more meals on tables for food-insecure Virginians.

The legislation helps local food banks to directly purchase the items from the farmers and onto the tables of families in need.

“This program that we have now will make it easier for many of us to work with Virginia farmers. We had a shipment just this morning from Waterpenny Farm of 800,000 pounds of just terrific produce,” said Radha Muthiah, President & CEO of Capital Area Food Bank.

The bill will support families financially recovering from the pandemic and those who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). First Lady Pamela Northam also referenced the administration’s efforts to provide the farm to table foods to students.

“Growing brains need full tummies. You can’t learn when you’re hungry,” the first lady said.

Gov. Northam says it’s a win-win, putting money into the pockets of local farmers while providing quality food to families. The bill comes after Northam allocated $7 million in CARES Act funding to Virginia food banks to aid those who rely on food assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Prior to COVID-19, 9% of our population in Virginia were food insecure. During COVID-19, that number at times went up to over 20%,” said Northam.

Out of 829 pregnancies only 129 of patients got the vaccine before the 3rd

Let us compare statistics of 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancies

So 104 spontaneous abortions (loss of pregnancies before 20 weeks) happened in 129 women who got vaccinated before the 3rd trimester

That means 81% of pregnant women who got vaccinated before the 3rd trimester had spontaneous abortions

The national average is 10-26% spontaneous abortions off all pregnancies

I suggest that vaccination with covid-19 vaccines before the 3rd trimester increases the rate of spontaneous abortion by a factor 4-8x
