We sincerely hope that you are having a good time with your loved ones and family.

It has been the worst year for many asset classes across the board. We have witnessed the breakdown of seemingly unbreakable crypto projects and crypto exchanges. In addition, the macro-economic is not healthy where the S&P ended Friday lower, leaving the benchmark down almost 20% for the year while both Meta and Tesla lost market value of 66% and 68%, respectively.

This phenomenon affected a lot of projects and many developments were halted, SAFETREES is not immune to these blackswan events. 

We started 2022 with lots of hope and plans. We have updated our website and engaged with other projects for collaboration. Nonetheless, it was distorted and affected by the situation mentioned above, but 2022 give us many lessons.

We hope that 2023 would be a better year for everyone in the crypto-verse. SAFETREES will still follow our plans as stated in the roadmap. The velocity of our development would always be gauged by the overall market situation and sentiments. We would preserve the integrity of this project and make sure that when the next bull run arrived we are ready to follow the ride.

It’s happening!

During the next few months, we will exploit the support we can get from Antler’s venture-building, expertise, global network, and funding opportunities together with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

As mentioned earlier, putting more energy into reaching out for partnerships, performing market research, and building a strong product with dual utility in both crypto and non-crypto markets. Hence we reach out to Antler Nordics! We must build a strong partnership and continue building well-designed products and services. That is our current goal.

We are very happy to be with you on this journey. We have achieved lots of things together during our first year. We have grown our network and community, and together we have demonstrated our commitment to the SAFETREES project.

It is very encouraging to see that our community is holding strong and have a positive mindset.

It has been a wild month for the whole crypto market as well as in the traditional market. BTC just had its first time 8-week red candle close. The traditional market has surpassed the bear market territory. Thus we are witnessing the downtrend and lower market sentiments which maybe some of you have never experienced before.

Few of us in the team have been in the bear market before, but this time is different because of the combination of black swan events. Though there's a lot of bullish news for crypto in general notably BTC, however, the market is not influenced by positive news. Everyone is looking at the traditional market, interest rates, and the war which could lead to recession.

Nonetheless, we are here! We are ALL in this together. The team has made significant progress with the development of our products and business in general. Because of the present state of the market and more especially the overall crypto sentiments, we are very strategic with our executions (i.e. Beta/Test Flight testing or launch). We hope that this bear market cycle will end sooner compared to the previous ones. Because it is crucial to our overall project plans and marketing efforts.

Therefore currently, the team has been in dialogue with some business consultants in Denmark and reach-out Fintech companies as well. The project is putting more energy into reaching out for partnerships, performing market research, and building a strong product with dual utility in both crypto and non-crypto markets. We know that this will take time but this would be good for the project in the long run. The whole crypto industry is still in its infancy. So we don't want to rush! We learn that from LUNA, right? They only built TerraLUNA for 2 years, but still, we know the outcome. We must build a strong well-designed product and service. That is our goal.

We are glad to share with you our latest action. Planting trees and helping local communities is in the center of the project.

Fruit trees change lives. Here are some key stats from the project:
• 12,500 farmers and their families participated
• 85% of the reforestation work was done by approximately 11,000+ women farmers
• 100+ women were employed through the nurseries we built
• 2 managers and 9 supervisors of the project were women
