Leading Cardano DEX Suffers Front-Running Attack
Minswap, the very first multi-pool decentralized exchange on Cardano, has experienced a front-running attack. Front-running refers to the practice of getting prior knowledge of future transactions via various means. Traders who commit it can potentially secure risk-free profits. DEXes have to look for different ways to prevent such attacks. Minswap said that it had started investigating possible front-running on the DEX. “We are working on a fix to prevent it from happening again and we are working hard to finish that as soon as possible,” the project tweeted.
