We’d like to thank you for your continued and unwavering trust in Cake DeFi and upgrading to the new 5-year and 10-year Freezer, which will generate 1.5x and 2x the rewards respectively. The response from all of you has been positively overwhelming, and we’re pleased to share that within these short 24 hours, approx. 20m DFI has been added to the new Freezer.

We have already spun up the new Freezer nodes using idle funds (DFI that is not in any products) to try and ensure a seamless transition with minimal lag time. We’ll be spinning down and resigning our old nodes shortly however, this process might take an extra day or two.
During this process, the rewards from the newly spun up nodes should kick in within the next few days, and we are certain that everyone will be happy with the higher returns coming from the Freezer.
