2021-12-14 12:39:44 Second Certik Audit - Security Assessment Updated

The document describes the findings and related actions that have been taken by the Centaurify #development team regarding the second security audit carried out by Certik, for Centaurify.

The scope of the report was to discover issues and vulnerabilities in the source code of the Centaurify project as well as any contract dependencies that were not part of an officially recognized library. Certik performed a comprehensive examination, by utilizing Static Analysis and Manual Review techniques.

All the findings have been promptly addressed by the team and the following measures have been applied.

In general, based on Certik recommendations, centralised privileges have been removed via a #decentralised mechanism with enhanced security practices.

We have been listening to our community and we are looking into ways to make it easier for people to invest in $CENT, and the Centaurify project. We see that due to the high gas fees, it has been hard for people to invest into $CENT via ETH based DEXs.

One way of solving this, is if we build a bridge to another blockchain platform. Giving people the option to buy $CENT on ETH, like they have had since the end of the IDO, but also through other DEXs that are on other chains.

If you, our active community agrees that this is a good idea, and gives their feedback on which of the chains we should bridge to, we would allocate liquidity from our Eco system development and community incentive funds.

2021-12-13 18:33:02 What are the advantages of using #blockchain and #NFTs for #ticketing?

The main advantage of using blockchain and NFTs for ticketing is that it enables event organizers to keep track of the tickets after they are sold.

All tickets are securely linked to the purchaser, and these #transactions and any others on the exact tickets are entered in the blockchain. Any further sale or transaction involving the tickets will also be listed in the blockchain.

Keeping a shared database of all the transactions involving each ticket limits or even eliminates the possibility of #scalping, uncontrolled price #gouging, and #fraudulent transactions.

There are other #advantages to controlling the transactions through blockchain, including ensuring that ticket prices are kept fair, even when resold, and the opportunity to award royalty payments for each transaction to artists or event organizers.
