At the end of July, the number of active bitcoin addresses increased by 30%
Glassnode data shows that Bitcoin saw a noticeable surge in activity over the last week of July, with active BTC addresses growing 30% from 250,000 to 325,000 active users.
According to Glassnode's seven-day statistics on active bitcoin addresses, this is the largest surge recorded after the number of active bitcoin users fell 41% from 425,000 in January to 245,000 in early July.
Glassnode noted that the current level of Bitcoin activity is in line with the levels it was in July 2020, when Bitcoin was trading around $11,300.
