The Poly Network Internet Protocol has been hacked. $611 million stolen
The main reason for the hack was a cryptography problem. Attackers have somehow created a fake transaction signature in order to steal funds.
Also, as a result of the hack, the O3 pool, which uses the Poly Network to exchange tokens between different blockchains, has been suspended.
Assets such as Ethereum worth $273 million were stolen, Binance Smart Chain tokens - $253 million, and $85 million USDC was withdrawn from the Polygon network.
At the moment, this is the largest hack of the De-Fi project.
