Bitcoin.org website was hacked by scammers
Bitcoin.org, the oldest cryptocurrency-related website that was registered by Satoshi Nakamoto and Marty Malmi, is currently showing a fake giveaway pop-up announcement.
Attackers urge people to send bitcoins to their address, promising to return twice the amount.
Meanwhile, all other subpages on Bitcoin.org do not work as the current homepage does not allow navigating to them.
So far, the scammers have collected $17,764.
