Bing is set to receive several much-requested AI-powered features that could put it in competition with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Plus subscription service.

Microsoft recently announced a slew of new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features for its Bing chatbot and Edge web browser. Chief among the changes, Bing users now have full access to the GPT-4 model — the same underlying engine that powers ChatGPT’s “Plus” subscription service.

Previously, Microsoft held access to the GPT-4 version of the Bing chatbot to a “limited preview.” It’s now announcing open availability through the Bing app, web access and the Edge browser.

Aside from giving Bing, Edge and Windows users free, unfettered access to the GPT-4 model, Microsoft also announced upcoming support for multimodal outputs, chat history and plug-ins.

Multimodal support will allow the Bing chatbot to generate responses, which include a combination of text, images and videos. It will also have the ability to generate charts and graphs, something that could give it a leg up over ChatGPT.

YouTube has intervened to prevent an XRP cryptocurrency scam from being promoted on the hacked popular YouTube channel DidYouKnowGaming.

Last week, the team behind DidYouKnowGaming warned on Twitter that they have lost access to their YouTube channel, which has 2.4 million subscribers, after their Google account was hacked.

YouTube was quick to act, asking the YouTuber for certain information in a bid to help them regain access to their account.

"We'll need to get some quick info from you & then we'll connect you w/ a specialist team who helps restore account access," the official Twitter account of YouTube said in response to DidYouKnowGaming.

However, despite these efforts, OpenSea’s trading volumes declined by 28%, forcing its dominance lower to 21.93% in April.

Meanwhile, Blur has maintained its position as the dominant player in the NFT marketplace, commanding a market share of 65.94%. It is despite its trading volumes decreasing by 33.19%, a $826m reduction.

Lido has enjoyed a net inflow of 105,644 ETH through last week, worth some $199 million, pushing deposits to 6,008,480 ETH, according to blockchain data by a Dune Analytics dashboard.

Liquid staking has become a popular way for investors to earn yields on their digital assets, making it one of the largest DeFi sectors with $16 billion of value combined, per data by DefiLlama.
