2021-09-09 12:19:02 Ukraine passes legislation to recognize and regulate crypto

Recently Ukrainian parliament has adopted legislation regarding to regulation of foreign and domestic cryptocurrencies exchanges operating within the country.

The decision was took on Sept 8, 2021 when the parliament adopted the draft feature law on the "virtual assets", legally recognising cryptocurrencies in the country for the first time.

Legislation is based on the existing standards developed by the inter governmental policy making organization, FATF.

Ukrainians will also be able to declare their income in virtual assets.

Ministry emphasizes to that the country will receive extra additional tax revenues to the budget, which will be paid by Crypto companies.
