#DeFiHorseWise: GIVENCHY DEBUTS ITS FIRST NFT ART COLLECTION
Founded in 1952, Givenchy is a longtime French luxury fashion house with iconic designs like the famous black dress Audrey Hepburn wore in “Breakfast in Tiffany’s”.
Its next destination? NFTs.
Recently, Givenchy has teamed up with Mexican graphic artist Chito to
create an exclusive collection of 15 NFT artworks. Matthew Williams, the creative director of Givenchy shared
“I’ve been wanting to explore this new and exciting space of NFTs”.
Givenchy’s NFT release is done with sustainability in mind. The NFTs are minted on Polygon, an Ethereum-compatible network that allows for more carbon-efficient transactions.
The unique combination of NFT and diverse fields such as fashion or games contributes to creating a multi-dimensional world, bringing NFT closer to the public.
