Top Ethereum whales continue to buy up Shiba Inu, however, the total amount of this meme coin in their wallets has diminished and now they hold less than $200 million in SHIB.Now, these top 100 wallets are holding a total of $179,344,952 in SHIB compared to $150,185,634 on Friday.

Data provided by WhaleStats shows that compared to just recently, the total amount of SHIB held by the Ethereum whales has seen a drastic decrease. As early as last week, on August 3, these wallets held more than $600,000,000 worth of Shiba Inu.By the time of this writing, this large stash has shrunk to merely $180 million as reported above. Besides, overnight Shib has lost its leading position on the top ten list of whales' holdings. Now it sits on the second spot, while LOCUS holds the first position there.

The Shiba Inu community has issued a warning on fake Shiba Eternity apps. This alert was raised by ShibQueenie, the official Shib Discord moderator and member of the Growth Breed, who stated that the Shiba Eternity game remains in early testing and, as such, was only available to approved tester accounts and players in Vietnam.

The month of August has been an eventful one for the Shiba Inu community. At the start of August, the Shiba Inu team revealed the name of the Shib CCG game, Shiba Eternity, after weeks of teasing the community. It also stated then that it was working alongside Playside Studios on a testing schedule and release. The 395th biggest ETH whale ‘BlueWhale0113’ has gone all in on Shiba Inu today after purchasing 312 billion SHIB tokens. The whale picked up the mammoth amount of tokens for $3.72 million in one single transaction. The whale purchase comes a day after Shiba Inu’s ecosystem token Bone doubled in price in just 30 days.

Bone is spiking in price as it will be used as gas fees on the Shibarium layer-2 network. In addition, validators on Shibarium will also be rewarded with Bone tokens. Also, Shibarium documentation and the public beta testnet are expected to be released next month. All these combined factors made Bone double in price in a month. Apart from Bone, Shiba Inu’s ecosystem token Leash also spiked in price as it jumped 50% in 14 days. Leash was trading at $342 last month and touched $639 yesterday in less than 30 days.

WhaleStats, a portal that tracks the activity of major Ethereum (ETH) holders, has shared data on the composition of the top 2,000 ETH whales' positions. According to the data, in addition to stablecoins and Ethereum itself, SHIB holds the largest portion of whales' portfolio.

The token's share is 10% of the total and equals $660 million. By comparison, the entire capitalization of the Shiba Inu project is in the neighborhood of $6.6 billion. Thus, it turns out that by holding 10% of their portfolio in SHIB, the top 2,000 ETH holders hold 10% of the entire capitalization of Shiba Inu. In a recent post, crypto exchange Binance posted that it would be adding the capability for new coins on its Binance card. The Binance card is one that allows users to pay at merchants worldwide using their cryptocurrencies, and it already features a number of prominent cryptocurrencies on it. However, Shiba Inu had previously not made the list until now. The post announced that Shiba Inu investors would now be able to pay using their SHIB tokens as long as they hold a Binance card.
