It’s here. Say hello to Habitat Management It’s time to put your Genopet’s new home to work.

Habitat owners are now able to Terraform more Habitats, Refine Crystals, Harvest Daily KI, and assign rentals to Harvesters and Alchemists.

Genopets is a Dual Screen Experience. Meaning? You use the app to bank your steps, convert steps to Energy, and level up your pet. You then head to Mainframe on mobile web or desktop to use that Energy to do all things earning! EARN BABY EARN

You can also see your Habitats in the Genopets app so you can flex and make sure your Genopet's home is a comfy as possible.

With earning now live, we close the book on Phase 1 of our roadmap and move into Phase 2, Whitelist Public Beta.

It's been added to the GENE Staking section of the Whitepaper for future consumption and proof that we take security seriously for Genovians everywhere.

The audit was performed by SolShield who has also worked with leading Solana projects like Magic Eden and Strata.

Over the course of two weeks of in-depth analysis and a month of preparation and review to put together the report, we worked with their team to ensure that GENE staking was safe, secure, and held the strictest security standards.

1. SFTs are live with Magic Eden—a safe and secure place to trade all those Crystals you'll be refining.

2. The Habitat Management Contract has been deployed to Mainnet (https://solscan.io/account/HAbiTatJVqoCJd9asyr6RxMEdwtfrQugwp7VAFyKWb1g) and final testing is complete for Habitats. In fact, the first regular habitat was terraformed by our team while testing burning real KI, GENE, Crystals & a Seed. 3. The last hurdle to releasing Habitat Management is confirming the accuracy of the step tracking for Android users.

4. We are preparing to launch without Google Fit. If you are having step counting issues on Android please say so in Private Beta and report your device, Android version, and version of the app you are using.

5. We are working on Google Fit integration which could help with accurate step counting and also allow Android users to use wearable devices, but we have not been approved yet. Initially we expected this to take days, but it seems the verification could take weeks.
