[INFO SESSION] No child should fall victim to landmines or explosive remnants of war
When searching the keyword “Landmines”, there are heartbreaking articles about deaths and injuries due to the impacts of landmines on children. According to the Landmine Monitor, children accounted for at least 50% of all civilian casualties, an increase from 2017. Children are most at risk from landmines or unexploded ordnance, which can be mistaken for toys, so children can pick up or kick around.
