Let's give a warm welcome to today's guest: Omar Mohamed - Executive Manager of Minesweepers International Competition
Omar Mohamed is the Robotics Program Manager at Delta Square International LLC. which is an Innovation Enablement Platform that ignites innovation mainly in new and emerging technologies; through capacity building, pre-incubation programs and competitions with a vision of breaking barriers between people and technology.
Through his work, Omar is the Executive Manager of Minesweepers International Competition. This first outdoor robotics aims at raising public awareness of the seriousness of landmines, in addition to leading the Underwater Robotics Challenges in the North Africa region. He was formerly the Robotics Program Coordinator at Hadath GIE from Jan 2018 to 2019. Also, Omar was the President and the Executive Manager of Innovation Hub Ain Shams University (iHUB ASU) from Nov 2016 - Oct 2017. The Hub is a joint project founded by Ain Shams University, TIEC, The Ministry of Higher Education and EiTESAL.
