There will be 10,000 zombies in total. Only the first batch of 1,000 is released today and 850 are available for purchase split between Arweave and Ethereum:

425 are available immediately for purchase on Arweave for 10 Koii (one per wallet): https://atomiczombies.io (https://atomiczombies.io/)
Note that purchasing a zombie for 10 Koii, Atomic Zombies bought in Koii take up to 16 hours to hit your finnie wallet, but are zombie attributes are immediately generated and stored on arweave.

The other 425 are available for purchase on Ethereum for 0.02 ETH: https://atomiczombies.io/
Purchased zombies will be shown as soon as transaction is confirmed, and displayed in their opensea compatible web3 wallet such as metamask or finnie. All transfer fees are paid by the Atomic Zombie owner.

Reminder: Finnie now supports Ethereum Wallets

This event also marks the launch of the Ethereum bridge, currently supporting ERC1155 NFTs. Zombies (and all your other NFTs) can be bridged between Arweave and Ethereum (and thus, moved from Arweave to Opensea). The cost to bridge from Arweave to Ethereum is 10 Koii, bridging from Ethereum to Arweave is 0.001ETH. Note this static bridge cost will become dynamic eventually.

You will need version 0.2.7+ of the Finnie wallet to use the bridge. If you're not able to bridge, make sure you have the latest version (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/finnie/cjmkndjhnagcfbpiemnkdpomccnjblmj). All zombies are part of the Atomic Zombie collection when on OpenSea because of the bridge contract.

We realize that the faucet only gives 5 Koii, which won't be enough to purchase a zombie. This is intentional, as we wanted to reward those who are actively using the Koii ecosystem. Those who don't have enough Koii can earn Koii by gaining attention to their NFTs, or they can simply purchase a zombie on https://atomiczombies.io (https://atomiczombies.io/) for 0.02 ETH if they are interested.

As you know, zombies are quite slow-moving and sometimes wander off in the wrong direction. All jokes aside, I want to make sure that you know we are delaying the release of the first horde of Atomic Zombies until tomorrow, October 27th. You haven’t missed it, and we sincerely thank you for your patience while we put the finishing touches on the drop.

Once this goes live there will be a bridge that will allow you to earn attention rewards on every NFT you own (every time it’s viewed!) and then sell it on an Ethereum marketplace when you’re ready to part ways. Truly the best of both worlds.

And shortly, you’ll get to have a highly-fashionable, perhaps-impaled Atomic Zombie who loves a good Disney movie now and again.
