2023-03-10 18:52:14 Gold jumps 2%, silver rallies over 3% after jobs report
Precious metals extended gains on Friday after the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics released the latest nonfarm payrolls report with gold rallying more than 2% and silver jumping over 3%.

The jobs report showed the US added 311,000 jobs in February, while the unemployment rate unexpectedly rose by 0.2 percentage points to 3.6%.

Spot silver surged 3.47% to go for $20.77 per ounce at 10:41 am ET and gold climbed 2% to sell for $1867.33 per ounce at 10:45 am ET. Platinum gained 2.50% to go for $971.72 per ounce at 10:46 am ET and palladium was up 1.80% to $1,395.48 per ounce at the same time. Open / Comment

2023-03-10 17:45:19 XAU/USD 1H - Back with another update for you all on the gold pair as we have seen price now break structure to the upside on the higher timeframe structure.

As you will see from the above screenshot, price has just broke above the last structural high that was set before the push lower, because of this we can now be confident in saying further bullishness is to continue.

This trade is currently running + 440 pips. (+ 40%) 20RR

If you are yet to take a partial on this pair I would reccomend you do so now, also look to move SL to entry or even trail it below the last higher timeframe low that was set.

2023-03-10 16:59:03 XAU/USD 1H Update - Thought I would update you all on the gold market as we have seen price trail higher since the NFP news. As you can see price has continued to put in the structure we want.

I would advise trailing your SL’s or at least moving it to entry making this trade risk free, I dont see why price has any reason to come back down to our entry now.

2023-03-03 13:26:34 GBP/JPY 4H - This pair is near enough ready to take that next leg lower, for me to look to sell into this market longer term I do want to see price tap into the higher TF Supply zone I have highlighted out.

Once we see price penetrate said zone I will be confident in price moving lower and will look to place some positions. There will be plenty of Supply waiting to be cleared and orders will be executed in the mass'.

This also falls inline with the current higher TF structure, following the laws of bearishness, so with that being said we can expect the leg lower that comes from the penetration to take us lower than the previous higher TF low as it should follow the laws of bearishness (Lower Highs & Lower Lows).

As always our SL would be placed either above the zone or the peak created from the penetration, our TP should be set just above the previous higher TF swing low as in theory that should be achieved with no interruptions from a higher timeframe way of looking at the market. Open / Comment

2023-03-01 13:45:26 GBP/USD 5M Update - As we can see price came back up to sweep the zone we had highlighted on the markets to take out traders and clear any remaining orders.

depending on your broker, you may have been sweeped out here or you may have not. I am still in on this market with me having raw spreads with Axi.

This trade is currently running + 37 pips. (+ 9.25%) 4.625RR

I personally have gone ahead and taken a partial for 50% of my running position here to bank profits on the trade, I have also moved SL to Entry making my trade risk free.

Well done to thos who got involved in this trade, as mentioned previously some of you may have been sweeped out due to spreads and the broker you use but those who havent be sure to implement good risk management! @LukeGFX Open / Comment

2023-03-01 12:47:05 EUR/USD 30M Update - Morning all, I hope you are okay, looking at the markets we have some good potential setups. Price has gone on to set a new high.

As we can see price has played out well overnight and has put in a new protected low above our entry, this is good news for our trade as it protects our entry from being hit.

This trade is currently running + 104 pips. (+ 20.8%) 10.4RR

If you havent done already look to take a partial with this trade to bank some profits and if you havent implemented good risk management you could look at moving SL to Entry making the trade risk FREE.

2023-02-28 19:31:49 Crude prices rise, WTI jumps over 2.5%
Crude oil prices for future contracts climbed on Tuesday as optimism of the higher demand outweighed lingering concerns of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy.

Earlier, Hong Kong announced it will be be easing its COVID-19 regulations after almost two and a half years, seemingly boosting prospects of stronger consumption of the commodity in the region. Investors will keep an eye on crude inventory data slated for release by the American Petroleum Institute (API) later today.

For settlements in April, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose 2.56% to sell at $77.62 per barrel at 8:47 am ET, and Brent for the same month deliveries gained 1.82%, going for $84 per barrel. Open / Comment
