Announcing Polygon Improvement Proposals (PIPs): Propose new features, discuss technical and design decisions and take part in the governance of Polygon.
PIP or Polygon Improvement Proposals are design documents describing new features and proposals to the Polygon community.
The objective of the PIP programme is that the community can pitch in ideas to improve different aspects of the network and these ideas will then be discussed by everyone within the community and then take forward to implementation.
How do PIPs work? The Parties involved in a PIP are the Author, Community, Matic Validator Advisory Board and Polygon Core Team.
As a community member, you can work with other stakeholders in the Polygon community to shape and build the future of the network.
Steps to submit a proposal:
1. Create a PIP on the Forum (https://forum.matic.network).
2. The drafted PIP will be announced by the Polygon Team on Discord
This will allow the author, community members and the Matic Validator Advisory board to have deeper discussions about the PIP and engage on the Forum.
