Meta has begun testing monetization in the Horizon Worlds metaverse. The monetization strategy is that users will be able to sell items, services, and certain "effects" that they themselves have created in the metaclass universe. In short, you can become an entrepreneur in the metaverse, where you create your own business model, bringing money to yourself - and to Meta.
Meta will give $10 million from the Horizon Creators fund to encourage participants in this experiment from the U.S. Participants will be given goals for which they will receive money, such as creating worlds or new features.
