Thus, we are honored to present one of the galleries-members: MaxArt Foundation for Support and Development of Contemporary Art

MaxArt Foundation was created in 2021 by Alexei Taicher & the Russian artist Evgenia Voronova, and partners.

The mission of the MaxArt Foundation is to support and develop contemporary art in Russia.

MaxArt Foundation areas of activities are:

— Uniting and supporting young talented Russian artists, presenting them to the general public;

— Creating educational programs for novice collectors & contemporary art lovers;

— Organizing experimental site-specific exhibitions at various venues, not meant for an exhibition activity and not tied to a particular location.

We are proud of the fact that four MaxArt Foundation residents are already presented on our platform, and looking forward to continuing our collaboration! Open / Comment

Aleksandr was born in Yakutsk, in far North of Russia. In his art he appeals to the cross-cultural background, European traditions and values, memory — mirror, through which humanity rethinks and searches its place in this world.

Author uses both digital graphics and traditional fine art techniques as mediums. Aleksandr is a CG & generative artist, musician, educator.

2021-12-07 21:08:41 Why did we choose 'Double Portrait de Jeanne Baudot' to open our series of «The Greatest Works of Art» special project?

We believe with this painting Renoir had foreseen the future, since he portraited a woman, who really by all her look reminds us of social media posted photo collages whenever the model can't choose just one pose, so there are all of them. Renoir's sense of beauty is indescribably unique, aetherial colour combinations, flowers in Baudot's hat, her gentle smile and look in a slightly shy manner — a very brief moment had been captured by the great painter for ages.

Renoir was so much dedicated to pictorial art, that even while being attached to the invalid's wheelchair he still continued painting pictures with a brush sticked to his hand.

it was pure magic discovering this breathtaking original painting in one of the Parisian galleries and now sharing its fractional NFT ownership to all our NFT holders, you still have a chance to become one of those people! Open / Comment

2021-12-06 20:31:32 II. Despite the age difference (Jeanne was 16 and Renoir was 55 at the time they met), Badeau was friends with the artist's entire family for many years, and in 1896 she even became godmother to Jean, Renoir's second son.

In 1949, Badeau wrote and published a book, Renoir, His Friends, His Models, in which she describes episodes from the master's life with warmth.

In total, the artist created several portraits of Jeanne Badeau: a portrait in three-quarter and full-face (double), Badeau in a green hat and a lithographed portrait. There is also a painting painted in 1906 by Maurice Denis — "Auguste Renoir and Mademoiselle Badeau," in which the artist and model are depicted together. Open / Comment

I. Jeanne Badeau was born in 1877 into the family of Emile Bodeau, chief doctor of the Western Railway Company and Auguste Renoir's personal doctor.

In 1893, thanks to collector (and Renoir's cousin) Paul Gallimard, Jeanne met the artist and became not only Renoir's model, but also his only painting pupil.

Badeau painted still lifes, portraits, and landscapes of Parisian suburbs. Open / Comment
