Shandong Television has begun developing its own blockchain to launch its NFT marketplace.
NFTs are commonly referred to as digital collectibles after Chinese state media condemned the market frenzy over NFTs.
China has yet to establish clear rules for NFT trading.
But a Chinese central bank spokesman and state media have issued warnings against NFT trading and money laundering.
The broadcaster did not specify how much freedom NFT traders would have in the market.
The People's Daily party launched its first series of digital collectibles in NFT's own gallery in February.
