NBA star Dwayne Wade releases NFT collection

Dwayne Wade is working with Budweiser Zero on an NFT collection that will go on sale May 24. NFTs will sell for $180 apiece and give customers a chance to win prizes, including autographed items like Wade's sneakers or a chance to watch a game with him.

Still, the NFT collection is being rolled out during a downturn in the digital asset market. According to The Wall Street Journal, daily NFT sales are down more than 90 percent since September 2021. It also comes amid a sell-off in cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin.
