Tangem Wallet does not rely on a seed phrase. Instead, it uses Tangem cards to secure private keys across multiple devices.

The wallet is available in sets of two or three cards, each serving as a backup for the private key. This key is stored securely within the chip and cannot be accessed by anyone, including the user.

Two cards mean having two copies of the key, while three cards mean three copies. If one card is lost or stolen, the remaining card(s) allows access to the wallet. Furthermore, if one card is lost and the access code is forgotten, the third card becomes essential for resetting the access code. Therefore, we recommend using the three-card set for enhanced protection.
