Ether Supply Reduced by 100K Coins Since The Merge Since Ethereum moved to proof-of-stake, the supply of Ether has decreased by more than 100,000 coins, valued at over $200 million at current prices. Had Ethereum remained secured by miners, the coin supply would have increased by over 2.52 million coins or $4.9 billion. However, post-Merge, the coin supply has decreased by 0.144% per year and $1.2 billion is being removed from the Ether supply over the same time frame
