All Tezos mainnet bakers are required to update before March 29, 2023 to keep baking on the blockchain.

2023-03-14 23:01:46 Octez v16.0 has just been released!
v16.0 includes the patched ’PtMumbai2’ variant of Mumbai and its associated executables.

Notably, it contains those for Smart Rollups – the new Tezos Layer 2 solution coming to Mainnet with Mumbai.

 v16.0 brings improvements to the baker in order to benefit from Mumbai’s pipelined validation and reduced block times.
 v16.0 will be the minimal compatible version if Mumbai activates, which would happen around March 29th if the community votes in favor of Mumbai.
