Dear Zilliqa Community,

We are happy to inform you that the staking contract has been unpaused and all staking-related activities have resumed. You may now interact with the staking contracts to stake and withdraw rewards. We thank you for your patience.

We would like to remind that:

We have adjusted the inflation to bring the staking APR back. Check the image below for further detail.

The system has also retroactively disbursed rewards to all the seed nodes for the period during which staking was under maintenance. Stakers need to withdraw their staking rewards as usual to claim the retroactive rewards. The retroactive reward disbursement covers rewards for 6 reward cycles that follow the emission curve of v8.0.0.

1,548,800 ZILs have been disbursed for each of the reward cycles corresponding to blocks 1171200 - 1173400, 1173400 - 1175600, 1175600 - 1177800, 1177800 - 1180000, 1180000 - 1182200, 1182200 - 1184400.

The next reward will be disbursed at block number 1186600 and it will follow v8.0.4 emission, i.e, instead of 1,548,800 ZILs, a total of 1,795,200 will be distributed.
