Step 1
Have two accounts.

Account 1 5% of the size of the account 2

That is your first line of defense, that is your account when you have an urge, but not a rational reasoning for entries. That is your high risk (as you'll probably lose it anyway) high leverage (as you probably won't listen to yourself anyway) account.

Second account is the one you imagine you manage for someone else, and you want to do it by the book. Waiting for extra confirmation, doing less risk etc.

Now...

If it would be this easy, many would be handling it.

Step 2

Hyper personalities must do something else to get the bottom line the same as proper risk guys.

You MUST be taking money off the market.

Something like in this fashion:

50% of the profit you take away completely, move immediately back to fiat. 25% move to your safety cold wallet (which will accumulate until you burn the first account, so you can also use this, but always by sending only 50% to the exchange).

Now, notice, this is only for guys who are always hyper.. but this brother, works only if you have some sort of an edge. Otherwise, you will end up losing the account in no time.

To everyone else: the most optimal approach is: proper risk management. Under risk not over risk. Wait patiently for confirmations.

To everyone: if your lifestyle changes if you lose something, you are overrisked. If not too late, get it out of the market. If already in red, still, the right move is to get out and save what you have left.
