Oleksandr Bornyakov, deputy minister of Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation, has highlighted how a new bill could allow crypto payments to be made in the country.
By using intermediaries that convert crypto into fiat, Ukrainian citizens would be able to make such payments entirely legally.
Crypto still wouldn't be considered a legal tender by the virtual assets bill, but it could be used for payment in much the same way as Ukrainians can pay using dollars thanks to instant conversion.
