Circle, a digital payment company, has revealed its plans to become a full-reserve national digital currency bank in the US.
Jeremy Allaire, co-founder and CEO of the company, highlighted Circle's readiness to be overseen by, and to meet the risk management conditions of, the Federal Reserve and the US treasury amongst others. He also emphasised the efficiency and security that could be made possible in creating a full-reserve bank using digital asset technology.
