April 13th, 10 AM EDT (UTC-4)

The CERE token offering will officially take place Tuesday, April 13th, at 10am EDT. The process remains the same, and we encourage you to get your KYC docs and necessary accreditation (if you are a US citizen) into Republic as soon as possible.

2021-04-08 15:03:39 Republic seeing beyond expected demand for Cere token offering, Token offering delayed

Dear community,

Due to overwhelming investor demand and given that we only have one chance to do this right, Republic is delaying the Cere token offering that was planned for today. We expected to see a lot of excitement for the offering, but had to conclude that the demand has been far greater than all of us could have expected.

Republic is reporting a 500% uptick in their usual user activity, just for the Cere Token offering. Based on these numbers and our mutual goal to provide a flawless token purchase process, Cere and Republic jointly decided that prevention is the best cure.

The Republic team will update us with more information in the coming days, including a detailed video walkthrough of the investment process, so that everyone is fully aware of the process launch day.

Diving right into the summary of the numbers:

During the Republic sale, there will be 3 tiers where people can invest:

Sale A1: $0.024, 12 month lockup. 7.7% unlock after sale, 23.1% unlock each three following months

Sale A2: $0.02, 18 months lockup. 7.2% unlock after sale, 15.46% unlock each three months

Sale B: $0.035, No lock up, directly tradeable at exchange listing.

In the past months, we have been giving away hundreds of whitelist spots. After tonight's last batch we now officially close the whitelist for the sale on the Republic Platform!

In total we gave away more than 500 whitelist spots to the community

All winners have received an e-mail from the Cere team ([email protected]). Make sure to check your spam folder and complete the required tasks.

I did not receive an e-mail, what now?

If you did not receive an email, you unfortunately did not win. You can still join the FCFS sale on Republic though. Everyone that completed the KYC on the Republic platform can join the sale on Republic.

I have a question about investing on Republic?

In a couple of hours we will update the community about the process of investing on Republic. You will receive an e-mail with instructions and we will post it here in the announcement channel.
