Last week we notified our Regional Leaders about the conclusion of the ‘Global Region Games’ (‘GRG’) Alchemist Quest and changes to their respective communities, including switching all the regional Telegram channels (and Twitter, where applicable) to Read-Only. The decision to conclude the GRG Quest stems from the need to focus our energy on in-person Quests like ‘Meetup-in-a-Box’ and ‘Hackathon-in-a-Box.’

We are committed to education and self-development programs for individuals looking to break into the Web3 space, and based on our findings, we foresee in-person Meetups and Hackathons as more impactful.

We encourage all the language-based conversations to happen on Discord under REGIONS from here on. If your region is not listed, please let us know so we can add it.

- MaxCap Multiplier: The ratio has increased to 20:1 from 16:1. With this, the maximum a Network Operator can accept in delegations is 7,000,000 CQT. Open / Comment

2022-07-13 20:46:48 Staking Parameter Update

On or around 14/07, the following updates will be implemented to the staking contract that affects how much Operators can accept in delegations:

MaxCap Multiplier: Increase the ratio to 20:1 from 16:1. With this, the maximum a Network Operator can accept in delegations is 7,000,000 CQT.

With these updates, we can expect to see
- the total staked increase from 67,200,000 to 91,000,000 CQT.
- % of circulating supply staked increase from 19% to 26% Open / Comment

We just published a chart that shows how Covalent's block specimen production appears to be in the top 10 on
Moonbeam Network. It also shows 'data verifiability' is a new category of applications on the blockchain and the Covalent decentralized network is leading the charge.
