Will Google skimp on the cryptocommunity?
A Scam Sniffer study found that phishing in cryptocurrency search ads at Google resulted in a loss of $4.16 million.
The number of victims now exceeds 3,000, with most of those affected in the last month.
Attackers distributing such ads are located in Ukraine and Canada, and the cost of their actions can be as high as $15,000.
The most commonly used phishing tools in advertising are platforms such as Lido, Defiliama, Zapper and others.
