Important! Cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex and stablecoin issuer USDT Tether have settled a dispute with the New York State Attorney's Office (NYAG) over the company's financial transactions related to the loss of $ 850 million.

As part of the settlement, Bitfinex and Tether will pay $ 18.5 million, they also did not admit the fact of violation. Tether will provide NYAG with reporting of the collateral for the USDT stablecoin.
