El Salvador's navy intercepted nearly 4 tons of cocaine worth $103 million. President Nayib Buquele immediately converted that into bitcoin, which is roughly equal to 2,050 BTC.

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has received approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain to operate as a cryptocurrency service provider.

According to documents from the Financial Transaction Analysis and Reporting Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), the Canadian division of Binance will operate as Binance Canada Capital Markets.

The branch will deal with currency transactions, money transfers and cryptocurrencies.

CryptoCom head Chris Marszalek criticized CoinMarketCap for its "inability" to display correct exchange trading data.
